Agent at desk was excellent… the shuttle drive takes awhile since not at airport

There was no shuttle to pick us up from the airport and it was too late in the evening to call and request one. We ended up having to Uber to a hotel and luckily our Uber driver told us how awful this company is so we did not pursue the rental any further. I called the company and they said since I hadn’t paid anything there was no refund necessary. I booked with directly Avis for a higher rate but everything went smoothly. You should remove Fox from your website, at least for SLC.

Pick up was not so good. The car itself was fine, correct vehicle class, got good mileage which was an added bonus. There were 2 other customers on the shuttle with us. There was no line and they got in line ahead of us. It took about 15 to 18 minutes per customer to check in. So it took close to 45 minutes before we were on the road. The car interior was super clean. The exterior looked liked it hadn't been washed in weeks and had lots of smushed insects not fully cleaned off the front. The return/drop off at the off-airport location was also super fast and shuttle was there waiting for us to hop on. The price was fantastic. Tough to complain about anything because of that price. All in all it was a good experience and if your looking for a good value I would highly recommend.

AC didn’t work for awhile. Window wipers were terrible. There was no washer fluid. Car was noisy. Car should never have been rented out. Very poor from Fox.

They charge an extra $150 holding fee separate from your reservation even if it’s prepaid. Car was dirty inside and out with dents and scratches so record before you take it and after. Also make notes on the marking sheet they give you.

It was not good. The car they gave us sat so low to the ground that we couldn’t even back out of a driveway without the bottom getting scraped. Also the cost was substantially more than what Kayak said it would be, The woman at the front counter when we got there was very rude and pressuring us into paying $500 to get an upgraded vehicle even though we said no multiple times.

Overall a great rental experience HOWEVER, I am concerned about the brakes on this vehicle. Driving down Parley's Canyon from Park City to SLC was an unsafe experience. The brakes did not function properly and I had to drive very slowly in the right hand lane to avoid rear-ending someone as traffic slowed ahead of me. The braking action on this vehicle does not function properly. Everything else was great.
