Terrible. I had my reserve and the counter guy just didn't find it. Besides they did not have any car available and the only alternative offered was a 8 person VAN 3 times more expensive. Worst experience ever, I need the refund because they did not respected the Reservation

They canceled on us the day before. While we were in a foreign country. We had to find a new car rental in less than 24 hrs.

The option to hire meant insurance doubled the cost and even then the wheels, tyres, suspension and exhaust were not covered. This felt like theft. Driving on poor roads when there are places where even major roads have pot holes 50cm deep and reach many hundreds of metres long and all the way across the road and the insurance is rigged against you is theft. I will never use Sixt again however pleasant the staff who were charming

Car booked was not available (actually turned out was never at that location- was being used as a shuttle vehicle for the employee at the airport Car was poorly maintained (engine check light on, intermittent fault with remote locking key fob that set the alarm off). No one at the “24 hour” drop off location at airport so had to get security guard to phone someone. They pushed extra insurance on us despite us having adequate preexisting coverage
