Price was not as listed, staff was misleading on charges, car was rough and dirty. Serveral mechanical issues with car during rental. I wish i would have rented anywhere but here. I do not reccomend for any reason.

kayak need to sell mexican insurance at time of rental..... too expensive to buy in mexico. deal refuse to release the car unless you must buy their campany insurance.

Rental agent wrote down random prices for mandatory insurance on a half sheet of paper, then charged us a different amount on the credit card. Car had numerous cosmetic issues (not complaining, just reporting). No one was available to drop off the car until about 10 minutes before we started to board the plane. Outside of that, everyone who worked for the company was very helpful and positive, and the car worked fine for our purposes. But the insurance ended up more than doubling the price of the car, and we had to wait more than an hour to finish the rental process.

Everything was stop notch, the only thing I just did not like watched it I got charge For the car rental but when we arrived at the airport in Loreto Mexico I had to pay the same amount for insurance even though I told him I was covered by my platinum credit card. The sales person told me they did not except credit card insurance. Other than that they gave me a brand-new car that work perfectly.

Great service from Alamo, Mexico in both Loreto collecting car and La Paz where I returned it. Rental was a large SUV (VW Touran) in good condition and comfortable for 4 adults and luggage. English speaking representatives. Very polite and helpful. Explained everything about the rental including insurance and charges fully. My only suggestion for improvement would be to do "Full to Full" on fuel rather than picking it up with 3/4 of a tank and trying to return with same. But that aside, I'd recommend and use them again.
