Awful. Waited over an hour in a small office prior to pick up. Woman on the front desk with blonde hair was very rude and left us waiting in the office for over an hour when there was only one other person in there, who was already getting served by another staff member. Car was unclean. After just an hour of driving the car it started making a loud clacking noise. (We was running late so we did not have time to drive back). The noise did stop after a couple of days. Phoned to extend our car rental and was spoken to by the same lady we had on our pickup, again she was very rude and we got nowhere on the phone. Phoned again a few days later in hope that someone else would answer. Again the same lady actually put the phone down on me after I asked to extend the rental, I called back and she said she was really busy, which would have been ok but I told her I was borrowing our hotels phone and leaving so we would not have any other way to call , so she said “ok what do you want “ I said can I extend for another two weeks , she then quickly said “ok bye “ and put the phone down. I did not receive a message or an email confirming this so obviously she did not extend it as she didn’t even quote me on how much it would be. I have tried to go on the Hertz app to extend our booking but that won’t let me get past the “driving license number” section so I am now currently driving 3 hours back to the original pick up location to speak with them in person. I have never experienced such an incompetent member of staff as well as being so rude. I will not be using Hertz again
